Dave Pearce is a Mechanical Engineer based in Southern California

Dave Pearce is a Certified SolidWorks Professional and mechanical engineer with extensive experience in design, fabrication, and prototyping. His background spans motorsports product development, precision machining, TIG welding, and product design. He specializes in creating ‘design to manufacture’ solutions that integrate engineering analysis with real-world practicality, delivering high-performance results for complex builds and custom projects.

Dave grew up in Redondo Beach, CA, spending his time surfing, riding dirt bikes, building custom cars, and working in various trades before earning his engineering degree. For his senior design project, he developed a one-off, first-of-its-kind carbon fiber electric mountain bike, from which he developed a business plan and won the grand prize at CSULB’s inaugural Innovation Challenge design competition. Since then, he has carved out a niche in product development - prototyping, additive manufacturing, iterative design, patent drawings, and concept development, combining practical skills with engineering expertise to bring ideas to life.
